Kennels
There are two separate kennel buildings, both with indoor/outdoor runs
and furnished with blankets, rawhides, and toys for our dogs.

House: Kitchen
The kitchen in the house is used to prepare the food for the dogs that
live in the house and as a central location for shelter workers to find out information
about our dogs and the shelter.

House: Conference Room
The conference room is used to hold small meetings and a lot of clerical
work gets done here. It also houses anywhere from one to four dogs because of its size and
the amount of quality time that workers can spend in there with the dogs.

Medical Building
Last year, Little Shelter renovated its medical building. The medical
building is used for Little Shelter's on-site veterinary technician to perform all of the
minor medical and grooming procedures that need to be done to our dogs, like giving them
shots or clipping their nails. The medical building's quarantine room is used to separate
sick dogs and puppies from the healthy dogs and puppies until we finish treating their
illness.
We gave the medical building a new look to make it look more homey for the puppies and
small dogs that live in there. There is a beautiful tile floor, nursery room yellow paint,
and a picture border that runs along the top of the walls. We also reconstructed the
cabinets to make the room more functional and more spacious.

Cattery: Sun Room
Our state of the art cattery has a sun room for the cats to warm up on
cold days and view the bird action outside.
