As the weather warms up and the days grow longer, we all begin to clear out the winter cobwebs and entertain thoughts of planting bulbs and mowing lawns. At Little Shelter we are wishing on a star for many items that will help us SPRING forward.

LITTLE SHELTER WISH LIST

As Cinderella said, “A dream is a wish your heart makes.” It is Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center’s dream to provide the best of everything for the dogs and cats we take into our care. Please look over our wish list and find it in your heart to donate one or more of the items or the funds to purchase them. Some of our needs are one-time requests – others are on going. All are lifesaving necessities. On behalf of all our dogs and cats, thank you from the bottom of their hearts.

Building and Grounds

Kennel makeover, including new windows, floor, ceiling, and lighting
Screened in deck for back of cattery
Window shades
Paint, brushes, rollers, pans, drop cloths and any other painting supplies.

Maintenance

Generator to be used during power outages
Outdoor plants and foliage
Decorative flags and lawn ornaments
Landscaping assistance
Light bulbs
Batteries
Portable heaters
Cleaning supplies, including bleach, laundry liquid, dishwashing liquid, dust pans, brooms, mops, garbage bags, garbage bins, sponges, paper towels, and disinfectant

Animal Supplies

Food, including dry and wet dog and cat foods, rawhides, pig ears, bully sticks, etc.
Training (choke) collars, flat collars, and leashes
Grooming supplies, including a cage dryer, grooming table, brushes, hair clippers, and nail clippers

Office Furniture, Supplies & Equipment

Fax machine, printers, and printer cartridges
Pens, copy paper, pencils, writing pads, notebooks
Safe
Desks, chairs, and office furniture, lateral and vertical file cabinets
Small single-seat sofas, futons, and recliners for canine real life rooms

Miscellaneous

Rain gear for dog walkers
Door mats and throw rugs
