SPRING FLING!
2/25/08
Our baseball teams are arriving at spring training camp and now your pet has some good SPRING TRAINING tips for you too!
Enjoy a Spring Fling! Exercise more & get outside more. Oh boy, that means more walks for me! Nice long walks where I can keep you company and you will make my day! I would not mind helping you get some fresh air while you toss me a ball or a Frisbee. You know me, I aim to please.
Eat healthier. Did you know carrots and apples are a favorite snack among some of the coolest canines?
Get proper rest. When you are up, I am up, and you know, early to bed, early to rise makes your pet healthy, happy and wise!
Smile each day- Just know how much I love you, count on you and want to please you and you are sure to smile, I know I do!
Keep in touch with old friends and family- What do you mean you have nothing to write them about? Remember that adorable thing I did just last night? Don’t you think Uncle Phil would want to hear all about it? And then he would know we were thinking of him!
Save money- Dog park outings are free! We can play for hours and you don’t have to spend a weeks pay to buy the large popcorn and matinee tickets.
Stop and smell the roses.- No one and I mean NO ONE can teach you more about smelling the flowers then me.
Get regular check ups- I need you to be healthy to take care of me. After all, I don’t have thumbs!
Read a book- YIPPEE snuggle time. I can curl up and lay with you while you read. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HAVE US SPAYED AND NEUTERED Dogs and cats are dying for you to be responsible! One unspayed dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in 6 years. One unspayed cat and her offspring can produce 420,000 kittens in 7 years. 8 to 10 MILLION dogs and cats are euthanized in this country each year!
Please be sure that I don’t become one of those statistics. Did you know the chances of us getting cancer and dying are decreased more then 60 percent once we are spayed or neutered?
We know how much we love you and we show you with each wag of our tail or lick of our tongue. Please show us how much you love us by making that vet appointment today. Have us spayed and neutered and save lives!
