Nanna is a very sweet, old girl that we will take care of for the remaining of her time. Our vet estimates her to be about 16 years old. One of our employees received a call from a friend that there was a dog that looked to be hit by a car roaming a new housing development. She immediately went out there to find sweet Nanna, tired, scared, but luckily not hit by a car, just very old and disoriented. Unfortunately no one was looking for Nanna. She lived her life with a family and loved them dearly and when she needed them the most, they abandoned her on the streets.

Nanna will stay with us, living in one of offices, for the remaining time she has on earth. She loves to go for daily walks on the property. She only has one tooth left in her mouth, so her meals consist of just canned food and the occasional treats of soft meats. We will love Nanna like she deserves, till the day she passes.

It really breaks our hearts to think that after all these years with a family, Nanna was just left to die on the streets - alone and afraid. Luckily for her, she won't die alone or unloved, like so many do on the streets. Nanna, if you can say this, is one of the lucky ones.

We spay and neuter all of our animals as soon as is medically possible. The minimal adoption donation paid upon adoption includes all the medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
