How to Adopt a Dog

The first step is to fill out an adoption application here at Little Shelter.

You can find a large selection of dogs waiting to meet someone just like you right here at Little Shelter.

What happens after I apply?

After we review  your application, we will talk to you about the dog you'd like to adopt, and tell you more about any of his or her special needs. Then, we will do a home check. A home check is done by a Little Shelter member; it helps ensure that the dog you are selecting is the right match for you.

How do I get my new dog?

After you are approved for adoption, your new family addition will be ready to go home with you.
