THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING JOY, PLEASE CONTACT AMY AT 516-473-7663 or 516-473-7511. Joy is a 2 ¸ year old Border Collie mix. She is very sweet and loving, and is very smart and obedient. She loves to run and play and most of all she loves to give kisses, snuggle, and have her belly rubbed. Joy was originally rescued along with her adoptive sister from a terrible county shelter in Michigan that was about to sell them both for medical research. She was named "Joy" because of all the joy she gave her family.Although Joy is a wonderful companion and loves her adoptive sister, she does not get along with other dogs and is very frightened of children under the age of thirteen. However, Joy does love meeting people and does get along with cats. Because Joy's family has five other dogs that all have to get along, Joy's family must make the heartbreaking decision of finding another loving home for her in the interest of all their dogs. Joy is spayed and is updated on all her vaccinations. For more information about making. Joy a loyal member of your family please call 516-473-7663 or 516-473-7511."
