Ingrid The Love Bug!

When we found Ingrid, she was in bad shape. This little girl was slowly being killed by one of the worst cases of heartworm we'd ever seen. Her case was advanced and the worms were breaking up and clogging her heart vessels. She was also carrying an extra 14lbs of fluid on her abdomen. Vets at Babylon Animal Hospital and Long Island Veterinary Specialists went to great lengths to save Ingrid's life, and save her life they did! Dr. Govier of LIVS suggested that little blue pill, Viagra. Viagra was originally formulated as a heart medicine, and it is what has kept this sweetie alive. Ingrid will need to be on Viagra for the rest of her life, but that is a small price to pay for having such a loving companion. Ingrid adores everyone she meets and is always ready with a butt wiggle and big wet kisses. She will need to be the only pet in the home, as she wants all of the attention, but with such a Love Bug, why would you need another pet? Please give Ingrid the home she so deserves!

We spay and neuter all of our animals as soon as is medically possible. The minimal adoption donation paid upon adoption includes all the medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
