Loves Calm & Quiet!

It has been several years since Bean was rescued from a town shelter, and while most dogs quickly find new and loving homes, Bean has not been so fortunate. Each time we thought we found the perfect family for Bean, it did not work out (through no fault of Bean's). Now in her senior years, Bean has many of the quirks that come with growing older, but if you give Bean the time, patience and understanding she needs, you will get past this and find out that she really is a sweet gal who wants nothing more than to be loved. It has been some time since Bean thought of herself as a dog - rather than dining on 'dog food', Bean prefers to feast on selections from the carving board including chicken, turkey, and her favorite - roast beef! She enjoys car rides to McDonalds, a slow amble through the woods, and sitting outside with her favorite people and catching some 'rays'. Bean prefers the quiet life and would enjoy a home where she is truly the 'apple of somebody's eye' with no children and no other pets.

We spay and neuter all of our animals as soon as is medically possible. The minimal adoption donation paid upon adoption includes all the medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
