When the staff at a pet supply store turned up to work one morning, they found a container waiting for them at the door.  When they looked inside, a pair of big, green, frightened eyes stared back at them.  Inside was a beautiful, black, female kitten.  As they took her out to check her over, they noticed something was very wrong – the hindquarters of this little lady were quite deformed.  A customer of the store took the kitten to her own vet and x-rays determined that Donna had suffered a broken pelvis which had been left to heal on its own.  Knowing they were unable to care for Donna, the manager of the store called on us for help, and how could we say no…..  Because of her deformed bones, Donna has difficulty walking.  We don’t know what her future holds, but orthopedic surgery to mend her tiny broken body is definitely a possibility.  Such surgery is extremely expensive, but we will do whatever is needed to ensure that Donna grows into a healthy, vibrant, pain-free young lady.    You can help too!  Simply click below to make a generous donation, and you will be doing your part to ensure that Donna, and other needy animals like her, receive life-saving and life-changing surgery and medical care to go on and live full and happy lives.

*If you would like your life-saving donation to be allocated towards a specific animal, please note the name of that animal  in the ‘comments’ section of the Paypal page. Thank You!

We spay and neuter all of our animals as soon as is medically possible. The minimal adoption donation paid upon adoption includes all the medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
