Penelope is an
adorable, affectionate calico female cat. This big girl was adopted from
Little Shelter a few years ago as a special needs kitten, since she was born
with a neurological condition with her rear legs which caused he to bit a
little wobbly when walking. Unfortunately, last year her mom had a baby who
was allergic to Penelope. This poor girl was then exiled to live for almost
a year in a bathroom. Her mom finally realized that this was not a good life
for Penelope and returned her to Little Shelter. She is now waiting for a
kind person to come and give her the loving "forever" home that she so
desperately needs.
We spay and neuter all of our animals as soon as is
medically possible. The minimal adoption donation paid upon adoption includes all the
medical procedures that we have done on the animal being adopted,
including the spaying and neutering.
